Co-operation underlies the day to day functioning of Muktangan. At the classroom level children in their circles or around tables learn from one another as they discuss and work on joint activities, each contributing their own perspective. Children are not ranked and do not seek to outdo one another. This spirit of co-operation can also be seen amongst the professional staff and parent body, as all are encouraged to express their views and to listen to one another during meetings.
