Young women with a basic level of education and few career options, drawn from low-income communities, are offered training in a well-researched preschool and primary methodology. |

Child observation is the foundation of the Muktangan teacher training programme. Whereas, traditional programmes train the teacher to deliver the syllabus/textbook content to the student, our teachers are trained to observe and support the individual child in the process of exploration and learning. This enables the teacher to assess each aspect of the child's development and to support him as he moves ahead in the academic process |
